How we work
We are dedicated photoeletronic sensors, which operate according to the emitter and receiver principle. When we are used on automatic doors, gates and elevators, we usually employ infrared light. For some application, we use microwave systems aka as radar signals. In this case we operate according to the Doppler principle which can be observed in everyday road traffic: The frequency of a siren of an approaching police vehicle increases audibly in order to decrease fast again after the vehicle has passed. The object thus has to be in motion to be recognized.

What we can do
It is our task to ensure the safe opening and closing of doors and gates. We control barriers and escalators and make sure that the elevator doors close only when there are no objects or persons in the way anymore. We recognize approaching persons or vehicles and open doors and gates automatically.In case of revolving doors, we offer anti-trap protection; in case of automatic revolving folding doors we prevent collisions within the opening area. With our network of 135 light beams we prevent elevator doors from closing, if persons are still in the detection area. In order to save energy, we operate an escalator only if a person is approaching.

What makes us so special
On account of different functional principles and constructions we can be adapted specifically for every application. From a simple light beam and a close meshed light grip to fan-shaped detection areas we are the perfect complement for all types - from the supermarket door to garage gate. As we have been developed on the basis of the latest safety guidelines and DIN/EU standards, we comply with all legal requirements.
