ONE FOR ALL, ALL FOR ONE - Reduction Factor 1 Sensors
Reduction factor 1 sensors detect metals
A sensor is perfect when it is equally suitable for all types of types of applications. The same applies to reduction factor 1 sensors. They detect all types of metals with nearly the same switching distance. That offers significant advantages compared to conventional inductive sensors, especially for applications in which a sensor has to detect different metals.

Same switching distances: Reduction factor 1 sensors
Reduction factor 1 sensors detect all metals with the same switching distance. For many applications, however, the standard switching distance is no longer sufficient. Because of this, Pepperl-Fuchs developers have placed the emphasis in the new generation of reduction factor-1 sensors on maximizing the switching distance. The result is two series now available for users: inductive reduction factor 1 sensors with "standard switching distance" and inductive reduction factor 1 sensors with "increased switching distance".
