The SB-System: Reduced Mounting and Maintenance Costs with Pluggable Zener Barriers

Zener barriers offer a cost saving IS-protection in the process automation to limit the energy fed into intrinsic safety circuits. The SB-terminal bases and the SB-termination boards offer the ideal possibility of pre-wiring. The IS-circuit and the safe circuit are separated until the zener barriers are plugged in.

The New High-Density Power Hub for Fieldbus

The newest Foundation Fieldbus Power Hub is a fieldbus power supply. With an output of 25…27 V/360 mA up to four segments can be powered with this smaller relative of the already popular FieldConnex® Power Hub. This power supply is designed as a solution for many fieldbus applications where cable length and number of devices per segment require moderate output power.

New Power Modules Offer Extended Functionality

Segment Checker Updated with New Devices

Segment Checker makes designing a fieldbus network as easy as drag and drop! Pepperl+Fuchs released version 1.14 with new devices—amongst others the new PROFIBUS Power Hub and Segment Coupler SK3, a new FOUNDATION Fieldbus Power Supply and various field devices.

Buehl to Become Competence Center

In an asset deal on 7 July, Pepperl+Fuchs GmbH acquired all business assets required for the transaction of the Intrinsic Safety Instrumentation business from COOPER Crouse-Hinds GmbH. The new location Buehl will become the core of product competence on the subject of remote I/0 systems.

 

Review: Interkama+ and Achema
