Light Grids in Elevator Applications

Glass lifts or elevators, synonymous for modern architecture and innovative engineering, require anti-trapping protection which matches the lift or elevator door in shape and function in an optimal way. The lift light grid AL2109 combines a slender shape with high range of built in functions. By means of automatic beam crossing, a system of up to 135 detection beams is produced so that hands, for example, are recognized safely. The detection of objects, animals or persons is ensured until the elevator door is completely closed.
