The Power Hub is a modular, motherboard-based power supply system for one to four FOUNDATION Fieldbus H1 segments. It consists of a motherboard and various plug-in modules. Optimized electrical symmetry and use of passive components, ensures the fieldbus signal quality even under severe environmental conditions. The low heat dissipation of the Power Hub results in high operating efficiency and allows a very long service life. The Power Hubs are designed to accommodate the revolutionary Advanced Diagnostics Module HD2-DM-A for online and real-time monitoring of the fieldbus physical layer.
The 500 mA Power Hub supplies up to 31 V and 500 mA. It is designed to offer the best signal quality using CREST: Crosstalk and Resonance Suppression Technology. Filtering circuits always ensure optimal signal quality and the longest cable runs in the industry today.
The high-density Power Hub puts up to 25 V and 360 mA on the cable. The small size and redundancy as standard make this a very common choice for many fieldbus projects.
