The new development level of the high performance scanners VB34 and VB33 is expressed in an innovative mechanical design that separates the scanner into two separate components. The read head carrier module is on one side, on the other side is the decoder carrier module.

This makes it possible to adjust the ideal position of the scanner simply by turning the head unit to adjust for changing environmental conditions.
