High dimension color recognition is a characteristic feature of the VCS210 new color sensor from Pepperl+Fuchs. The VCS210's color recognition is carried out in the lab color space, which copies human color perception, independent of variations in brightness.
VCS210 color sensor has an extremely fast response time of up to 90 µs, which ensures fast process courses and high processing speeds. With 255 freely programmable colors, the VCS210 color sensor is easily integrated into your applications. Typical applications include the recognition of minute color differences, connector assembly, primer recognition or detection of self-luminous bodies.
By adapting light guides, the VCS210 color sensor can also be used under demanding environmental conditions, such as ambient temperatures of up to 300 °C.
