ML9 Series Miniature Photoelectric Sensors
Small and versatile
ML9 Series Miniature Photoelectric Sensors from Pepperl+Fuchs
The ML9 series miniature photoelectric sensors from Pepperl+Fuchs stand out for their reliable operation. The ML9 series has many versatile mounting possibilities, guaranteeing a fast and easy installation in your plant.
The versatile ML9 miniature photoelectric sensors can be placed directly next to each other, without mutual interference. The sensors also offer increased extraneous light resistance, and can be used in areas of frequency-controlled fluorescent lamps. The function will always be signaled reliably by bright, visible LEDs. In the event of a short circuit, a flashing 'Power On' LED provides a warning. The 'Power On' LED will pulse if there is an undervoltage supply condition.
The ML9 series family includes:
- Retroreflective sensor ML9-54
- Retroreflective sensor ML9-54-G for transparent object detection
- Diffuse mode sensor ML9-8-H-50 with adjustable background suppression
The ML9 series miniature photoelectric sensors have the advantage with an external teach-in inpu. Using this input, the sensing and range settings of several sensors can be adjusted simultaneously using the teach-in function. It is quite easy to program sensors that are in difficult to reach areas.
Characteristic features of ML9 series:
- Very high switching frequency of 1,000 Hz
- Easy connection by means of a cable fitted with an M8 connector
- Protection degree IP 67
- Increased extraneous light resistance - even if cycled energy saving lamps are used
- Multiple layouts possible – no mutual interference
- Sensitivity setting by teach-in - external or directly at the sensor
