Safe, ultrasonic, double sheet detection
in the metal forming industry with UDCM-30GM-085

Multiple metal sheets in presses and punches are a constant problem in the metal forming industry. Occasionally, two or more sheets are passed by automatic feeders to the metal forming press causing major damage to tools, dies, and to the stamping machinery itself. Repairs and lost production are costly. The new ultrasonic multiple metal sheet detection sensor ensures that only one metal sheet will feed to the press. If two metal sheets stick together due to oil or grease, the double sheet detection sensor stops the operation and enables removal.
