Process Equipment
Pepperl+Fuchs sensors are used in process equipment
Industrial sensor technology began with the invention of the inductive proximity sensor.
Globally, Pepperl+Fuchs, produces a broad range of inductive sensors. They are used in many process applications. Various international approvals are available for industry-specific requirements, including ATEX for the chemical and petrochemical industries.
Applications include valve position sensing, limit switches and flow meters. Products for use in hazardous and nonhazardous environments have been developed to control and communicate valve position for automated rotary and linear travel process valves. The use of AS-Interface sensors and I/O boxes has drastically reduced cabling and installation costs.
