Continuity and Flexibility—Remote I/O with all Control Systems
The safe way to system integration
Remote I/O from Pepperl+Fuchs
The device description files employed in these cases do not normally change during the plant life cycle. Changes may occur when the Remote I/O is developed to offer new functionalities. Pepperl+Fuchs makes sure that these are compatible with existing installations. We also allow old and new designs to operate on the same bus line without interference.
We work closely with end users, engineers, and contractors, and even have Life Cycle agreements with system houses to complete our long-term strategy for sustainability and product compatibility.
Pepperl+Fuchs Remote I/O hardware and software, such as EDDL and our certified DTM, are also tested by independent institutions.
DCS systems from main vendors are maintained and regularly tested in our laboratories.Remote I/O offers additional benefits, at no extra cost. All HART-enabled field devices can be addressed from a central position, making use of the HART on PROFIBUS profile. Field devices no longer require handheld communication devices to be linked to them individually.
Some DCS vendors can integrate our DTMs (Device Type Managers) into their system environment using their FDT frame engineering tool. Others integrate our Remote I/O through GSE files and software drivers written by the system houses. You can be sure there is a solution for every task.
For more information we will gladly send you our system integration brochure. Why not call or send us a short email?
