ACHEMA 2012: DART Fieldbus Receives Innovation Award

Pepperl+Fuchs' FieldConnex DART Fieldbus, the fieldbus infrastructure for hazardous areas, has received one of the famous innovation awards at Achema 2012 in Frankfurt/Main. The jury, comprised of media agencies PROCESS, PharmaTEC, and Schütgut, recognized innovative products, processes, and developments for the fifth time with the PROCESS Innovation Award. DART Fieldbus won the 2012 award in the field of measurement and instrumentation technology.
DART Fieldbus innovation combines the power for long segments with many devices and explosion protection at its best: Intrinsic safety. The intrinsically safe High-Power Trunk comes with redundancy of power supplies for high reliability and simple rules for planning and validation.
