These photoelectric sensors work without a blind range due to their special optics so a reflector can be positioned directly in front of the retro-reflective sensor. Compared to its predecessor, the maximum range of the new ML4.2-54-F retro-reflective sensor has been increased significantly to 4 m. VISO+ features such as high frequency, ambient light immunity and cross-talk protection were integrated. To protect against tampering, the units have no adjustment elements whatsoever.
A suitable ML6-54-F was added to the ML6 series photoelectric sensors and essentially differs from the ML4.2-54-F by its plastic optical cover and different output configurations.
