Pepperl+Fuchs Elcon, a full member of the Pepperl+Fuchs Group, has been reestablished in 2001 after the acquisition of Elcon Instruments, an Italian company founded in 1970 and specialized in intrinsic Safety and Explosion proof equipment, by Pepperl+Fuchs.

The company is situated near Milan in Sulbiate and currently employs approx. 70 people in Sales, Administration, Production, Research & Development and reports a significant turn over of more than € 22 Million.

Apart from being well presented in the domestic market, the company has expanded actively its marketing activities into the whole Mediterranean Area including South East Europe, South America, Spain, Switzerland, Hungary, Czech Republic and Austria.

It looks also after the local subsidiaries in Egypt and in Russia from where it covers Russia, The Baltic countries, Ukraine, Belarus and all the Russian Republics facing the Caspian Sea.
