Today, level measurement technology is the basis of process measurement and control in the chemical and petrochemical industries, environmental technology and other process-oriented industries. Our comprehensive program enables us to help you solve your particular measurement and control problems and to detect the precise level of any medium, under a wide range of conditions. At Pepperl+Fuchs, level control technology involves the technical realization of all statutory instructions, with the observance of all national (DIN), European (EN) and international (IEC) standards and also involves an active co-operative influence in the formulation of these standards. We also supply devices for use in hazardous areas and for use in water-polluting media, all with the appropriate approvals, e.g. to ATEX 100 or WHG §19. In applications such as over-fill prevention, min-max-min control and overflow and dry-running protection, the limit switches signal whether a pre-set limit level has been reached or not, or has been exceeded.
