Review: Interkama+ and Achema
This year's visitors felt well catered for at the new booth of the Process Automation Division, or at least that was the impression the Pepperl+Fuchs staff took home with them from the two big trade fairs, Interkama+ and Achema, which were held in the spring.
Animated discussions were held at the booth
Especially our visitors at the Interkama fair spent significantly more time at the booth than in previous years, in many cases they spent several hours. The excellent catering and the unique atmosphere at the new booth have most definitely contributed to this.
New Booth
The new booth design, which was described as both "elegant" and "prestigious" by our customers, was well received and certainly served its purpose in many ways: the open design provided easy access and invited our visitors to listen to or take part in a discussion or quite simply to enjoy a cup of coffee. Coffee was, of course, a clear favorite with our visitors.
Comprehensive Information
Our exhibits, which included attractive new products such as C-Series, PowerHub segment coupler and Advanced Diagnostics, attracted crowds of people who took part in animated discussions, asking questions and providing answers. Talks at expert level.
Another favorite, and for many the first place to go, were the interactive kiosks with touch screens, where our visitors had the opportunity to get a general idea before joining the crowd.

Details were in great demand
The curiosity and interest in our technology and concepts as well as in technical details and individual applications goes to show that our customers often approached us with very specific requests.
Our staff found both fairs to be not only unusually open, but also conductive to discussions as well as lively. In addition, this year in particular was marked by a consistently good atmosphere.
Small Differences
Both fairs represented perfect opportunities for an open exchange with our customers. In the course of the discussions, the different focal points of the two fairs became apparent.
Although fewer discussions were held at the Interkama+, they were a lot more intense and concentrated mainly on strategies and concepts. At Achema, on the other hand, very precise, application-related topics, which require a comprehensive, detailed knowledge, were often addressed in a record-breaking number of discussions. Both aspects must be taken into consideration for economic planning as well as the effective use of modern automation.
