 Pepperl+Fuchs has acquired the "Separator Alarm System (SAS)" business from the Danish company OJ Electronics.
OJ Electronics, with 2005 revenues of € 25 million, wants to further concentrate on their core product lines - thermostats for comfort heating and HVAC controls and power - utilizing their core sales channels and stimulating the continuous growth of the company. Pepperl+Fuchs, a specialist for electronic explosion hazardous area protection with 2005 revenues of € 280 million, wants to enlarge their offering for oil separator alarm systems as part of their focus on water treatment and sewage applications. Both companies Pepperl+Fuchs and OJ Electronics have entered into a supply agreement for 6 months to guarantee a smooth transition of products and know-how and to ensure delivery and availability of the products throughout the integration process.
