 DuPont goes Ethernet VisualizationPepperl+Fuchs has been chosen to supply VisuNet Human-Machine Interface (HMI) Systems for DuPont's new manufacturing facility in Jia Ding, Shanghai. DuPont required visualization in their hazardous area locations at the new Shanghai DuPont China Refinish Manufacturing facility at Jia Ding, which manufactures high performance paints and related products. They considered HMI-Video Signal, Local PC and Monitor with Ethernet RDP technology and found that the VisuNet solution offered by Pepperl+Fuchs fulfilled their requirements due to VisuNet's straightforward concept, based on the proven Ethernet technology with the flexibility of fully utilizing the benefits of a plant-wide unified communication protocol.  The Pepperl+Fuchs Remote Control Station VisuNet In addition, DuPont also furnished their existing Electronic Materials DuPont Dongguan Ltd. factory, which produces thick film microcircuit materials, with Pepperl+Fuchs VisuNet. All in all, Pepperl+Fuchs supplied a total of 10 VisuNet systems, including explosion protected monitors with mounting accessories, converters and cables.
