 The Fieldbus Physical Layer – Now Native to Operator and Engineering StationsThe Advanced Diagnostic Module is now accessible from Yokogawa's Plant Resource Manager System …  The Advanced Diagnostic Module Using Advanced Diagnostic Module (ADM) for the fieldbus physical layer brings many advantages during commissioning, operation and plant upkeep. The Diagnostic Manager, an FDT/DTM-based software is at the heart of Advanced Diagnostics and provides ease of use for fieldbus via its commissioning wizard, alarm lists, automated reporting and other built-in tools. Now the Diagnostic Manager, including configuration of the entire ADM system is automatically integrated in Yokogawa's Plant Resource Manager (PRM). The ADM shows up on the physical layer configuration of the plant. The ADM's Operator Guide Messages (summary) and Maintenance Guidance Messages (details with actionable information) make it easy for plant personnel to keep the process plant performing at optimum levels.
