New Power Modules KFD2-EB2
Offer Extended Functionality
Power feed modules serve as a feed-in for our isolator modules in the K-system via the Power Rails and for the analysis of the collective error message. The user does not have to wire every individual interface module. Due to the collective error message, the control system requires only one alarm input.
Twice as Much Power as Older Modules: the New KFD2-EB2
High Availability
Redundant feed-in of the Power Rails via two independent power feed modules increases the availability of the interface level. If one feed-in is cut off, the second feed module will ensure the safe function of your interface level.
Increased Redundant Power
Until now, the power feed modules for redundant power supplies were limited to a maximum current of 2 A. Circuit optimization increased this rate to 4 A. And this at an operating temperature between -20 °C and +60 °C, without derating.
Adjustable Direction of Operation
The direction of action of the alarm can be selected via a switch on the front of the module.
Extended functionality – less variety of products
These optimizations considerably reduce the variety of products in the power feed module range and will decrease your costs for stock and purchasing.
