PC Remote control station of the new generation
VisuNet Remote, is the PC- remote control station with up-to-date transfer technology between PC, control and display unit. Based on Ethernet TCP/IP and connected via an Ethernet interface in the explosive protection category, VisuNet Remote discontinues the common transfer via analogue signals using a signal amplifier and enables the operation of several PC remote control stations via a single PC unit by using transfer technology on a network basis.
Remote Control Station VisuNet
The new devices of the product family VisuNet Remote from Pepperl+Fuchs EXTEC are designed for the use in the explosive categories II 2G, II 2D, Class 1 Division2, Ghost, NEPSI. Models for non-explosive areas are also available. This device family is designed for -20° C to + 50° C ambient temperature under operational conditions.
Modular Architecture
The core components of display, keypad, housing and assembly technology, base stand, wall mount, ceiling mount, have a modular design. This allows for the easy configuration of client-specific designs. Additional options like heating, cooling, high brightness display, integrated command devices e.g. emergency stop button, signal lamp, push button and key switch complement the core modules.
Numerous interfaces permit the integration of various peripheral devices, e.g. keyboard (USB Exi), mouse (USB Exi), barcode scanner (TTY Exi), USB stick (USB Exi), WLAN stick (USB Exe), weighing and identification systems, etc. (RS232/RS485/ RS422 in Exe).
Robust Housing
The housing technology is complemented by its design in high quality stainless steel, type 1.4301 (304) or 1.4404 (316L). The front access meets the requirements of optimized accessibility for installation and maintenance purposes and is therefore also suitable for installation in clean room walls within the pharmaceutical industry. The housing meets the specification of protective category IP66.
Dependent on the client-specified requirements and standards, VisuNet Remote permits different transfer media. Light wave guides and DSL are used for transfers over large distances with up to 2 km transfer distance between PC Remote station and PC unit, and CAT7 solutions for distances of up to 100 m. Looping or integration into existing network topologies is possible.
