Distance measurement is a fundamental sensing technology.

A wide variety of processes have been used to address different types of distance sensing applications. Pepperl+Fuchs now - in contrast to our competitors – offers a complete sensor family based entirely on the superior Pulse Ranging Technology (PRT). Customers will no longer have to rely on the phase correlation method or other similar chip-based processes. The advantages of such processes - moderate costs and acceptable levels of accuracy- have now been replaced by PRT.

The modern Pulse Ranging Technology (PRT) delivers better parameters at a lower cost. Long range, accuracy, insensitivity to extraneous light, and attractive pricing combine to make an irresistible package.
