Les tablettes sont disponibles avec des systèmes d'exploitation Android ou Windows puissants et permettent l'échange de données mobiles dans les secteurs du pétrole et du gaz, de la pétrochimie, de la chimie, de l'industrie pharmaceutique et dans d'autres secteurs. Ces solutions pour tablettes robustes sont disponibles pour les environnements difficiles et les zones à risque d'explosion Zone 1/21 et Div. 1. Elles accompagnent les travailleurs mobiles dans leurs tâches quotidiennes telles que les contrôles, les inspections, les mesures de maintenance, les inventaires et le suivi des matériaux. Pour répondre aux exigences élevées de ces applications et pour garantir un fonctionnement sûr, les appareils sont soumis à plusieurs tests.

• Thermal Resistance Test: Over a period of four weeks, the devices are exposed to extreme heat and humidity and a day of extreme cold in an environmental test chamber. 
• Impact Tests: Test weights are dropped onto the devices several times from predefined heights to ensure the durability of the housings and (touch screen) displays.
• Drop Tests: Devices are dropped from a height of 1 m onto a concrete floor to test ruggedness.
• Overpressure and Flame Propagation Test: The units are then subjected to hydrostatic pressure tests to verify the strength and integrity of the housing. An internal explosion with test gases is then triggered to ensure that the flames do not spread from the inside to the outside.
• Protection Against Foreign Matter Ingress: Following the tests described above, the devices are tested in accordance with IP standards 64-68 for resistance to the penetration of water and dust.
