Function: ST 03

The sensor tester is suitable for function testing of all 2-, 3- and 4-wire PNP and NPN DC sensors and for testing NAMUR sensors.

Power is supplied to the sensor via the 0 V and 18 V clamp. For 3- and 4-wire sensors, the signal line is also applied to the third terminal. When the sensor output switches, this is displayed by a LED and indicated as well by a buzzing tone.

Because of the high output load capacity of max. 100 mA, ultrasonic sensors or similar devices can also be connected.

The automatic On/Off function prevents unnecessary use of energy and makes operation simple.
