System Lighting

Pepperl+Fuchs offers a large portfolio of external system lighting for the universal vision sensors with C-mount connection. Depending on the application, the object feature to be inspected and the required distance, the sensors can be combined with a suitable ring, spot, bar or area lighting. Due to the T-cable set, lighting and sensor can be connected quickly and easily via plug & play. Compared to sensors with integrated lighting, external system lighting offers greater flexibility in solving measurement tasks. The system lighting ensures optimum area illumination at all measuring distances due to adjustable light field sizes.

The power LEDs as well as the flash mode controlled by the camera ensure high light intensity to counteract interfering factors such as incident light from the side or changing ambient light. In this way, high-precision image capture and ambient light-stable applications are realized even over long distances and with fast movements.
