ICE2/ICE3 Series IO-Link Masters

ICE2 (EtherNet/IP) and ICE3 (PROFINET) series IO-Link masters from Pepperl+Fuchs provide the most versatile industrial IO-Link master solutions supporting the industry’s leading protocols, including EtherNet/IP, PROFINET, and MODBUS TCP. The modules come with a full web-based configuration approach with no need for any additional software or a higher-level PLC. Together with an integrated OPC-UA interface, the IO-Link masters are the ideal solution for cloud-based and hybrid systems.

Parallel Operation via OPC UA

OPC UA, short for Open Platform Communications Unified Architecture, enables the platform-independentinteroperable, and cross-vendor collaboration of machines in production and makes communication between machines and systems possible—both in closed networks and via internet. OPC UA can be used in parallel with standard industrial machine control systems, enabling the transfer of value-added data to the cloud.
