Netlink, Ethernet gateway to PROFIBUS/ MPI
Installed in a SUB-D shell, it contains a complete fieldbus master together with a 10/100 Mbps Ethernet interface. It is plugged directly onto the fieldbus connector of an automation device, which is connected to the next switch or hub via a 3 m long Ethernet cable.
The NetLink can be used in both MPI and PROFIBUS networks. The 24 V power supply is obtained via the MPI/ PROFIBUS connection.
The driver included in the scope of supply links the NetLink into the programming software. All programming functions are available. The crossover adapter permits the NetLink to be directly connected to a laptop or PC without a hub or switch.
