L'appareil a un module de redondance pour construire des systèmes d'alimentation redondante.
L'appareil est équipé de 2 entrées et 1 sortie. Les alimentations avec un courant de sortie allant jusqu'à 20 A et une sortie peuvent être connectées aux entrées. Les alimentations peuvent transmettre un courant nominal allant jusqu'à 40 A et de 40 A jusqu'à 65 A pendant 5 s.
Les deux entrées sont découplées par des MOSFET. Cela réduit la génération de chaleur et la chute de tension entre l'entrée et la sortie.
L'appareil s'installe sur un rail DIN de montage de 35 mm, conformément à la norme EN 60715.
