Sensor Versions
Capacitive sensors are available in different versions. Depending on the application, different types of output, connection types, materials, or designs may be necessary for effective use.
Each sensor output type provides information as to whether it is a binary sensor with two defined states, analog output values, or a data-transferring sensor.
Capacitive sensors can be integrated into plants in various ways. Various versions of sensors with fixed cables with or without plugs or with connector plugs are available as standard in various designs.
When selecting a sensor, the outer material is an important factor, since it must be appropriate for the ambient conditions of the application. This is the only way to ensure reliable operation of machinery and plants.
Capacitive sensors are available in various designs to suit different intended purposes and different installation situations. Cylindrical and cubic designs are typical.
