The DMT grounding systems are Ex d and Ex tb certified and designed to monitor the capacitance and resistance of equipment where static charges can occur. The sturdy flameproof enclosures allow the use in hazardous areas up to gas group IIC.
Wherever tanks, containers, drums or mixing stations are being filled by mobile refueling vehicles, static charge is a threat to safety. Grounding systems from the DMT series combine the safety characteristics of the EJB or GUB enclosures with a clamp fitted to 8 meters of cable. Therefore, the devices measure and monitor the continuity to earth in order to eliminate electrostatic charges while vehicles transfer combustible products.
