Cette barrière isolée est utilisée pour des applications de sécurité intrinsèque. Elle transfère des signaux numériques (détecteurs NAMUR/contacts mécaniques) d'une zone à risque d'explosion vers une zone non dangereuse.
Chaque détecteur ou commutateur de proximité commande deux transistors passifs pour une utilisation en zone non dangereuse. La sortie du module change d'état lorsque le signal d'entrée change d'état. Il est possible d'inverser l'état de sortie normal à l'aide des commutateurs de sélection situés sur le côté de l'appareil.
La détection de défaut de ligne (LFD) peut être sélectionnée et désactivée à l'aide du commutateur de sélection.
En cas d'erreur, le transistor est mis hors tension et les LED signalent le défaut. Un bus de sortie défaut séparée est disponible. Les défauts peuvent être surveillés via une platine d'indication de défaut.
Ce module est monté sur une platine de connexion HiD.
