Greater Flexibility with RFID Identification Systems with the IDENTControl Compact Control Interface [Movie]

The IDENTControl Compact control interface provides the possibility of connecting all read/write heads with different frequency ranges to a single control interface.  The IDENTControl Compact is used for more distributed control systems and machines requiring only one or two read/write heads. The smaller housing and connections for fewer heads reduces costs.  The space-saving housing is available as a 1-channel or 2-channel version for a variety of applications. RS232, RS485, PROFIBUS and Ethernet interfaces are supported.

In this example, individual machine tool components are identified via RFID.  On the IDENTControl Compact shown here two different read/write heads are connected.
