Paired with VisuNet Control Center software, RM Shell enables centralized management of VisuNet RMs. RM Shell 5 is based on Windows® 10 IoT Enterprise 2019 LTSC, and it supports all common protocols as well as the installation of third-party applications.

Thin client firmware for VisuNet Remote Monitors and box thin clients

RM Shell 4 is based on Windows® Embedded Standard 7, and it supports remote protocols like Microsoft® RDP 8, RealVNC, Citrix Receiver, and DRDC.

This upgrade kit works with VisuNet Remote Monitors and box thin clients from Pepperl+Fuchs that were originally delivered with the RM Shell 5 firmware based on Windows® 10 IoT Enterprise LTSB 2016 operating system or installed RM Shell 4 firmware.

Software for centralized remote configuration of VisuNet RMs and box thin clients

VisuNet Control Center allows all HMI systems with RM Shell 5 or RM Shell 4 to be managed from a central location. This prevents administrators from having to enter hazardous areas and cleanrooms to set up or maintain an RM or box thin client. Access to the devices is granted from a central location, saving time and costs.
