The K-Rack subracks from Pepperl+Fuchs were developed to replace the obsolete 19" Eurocard technology simply and efficiently: Here, pre-wired units with current interface technology from Pepperl+Fuchs' well-known "K-System" take the place of existing Eurocard racks. The cable routing in the cabinet is retained with this retrofit, while the removed Eurocards can be kept as spare parts for the rest of the system. Depending on the initial situation, all that is required is to reconnect the cables. Signal transmission happens via vertical or horizontal patch boards or mini terminals.
